Effects of Earthquake on Les Cayes

The SEED campus is located in Les Cayes which is about 120 miles from the epicenter of the January 2010 earthquake.  While the city of Cayes did  not experience the level of destruction as that found in Port au Prince, there was destruction of some buildings, injuries, and loss of life.  The SEED staff members and their families survived the initial earthquake without loss of life or injury.  The campus did not sustain significant damage.  However, the residents of the city of Cayes continue to need support for food, water, medical attention, medicine, shelter repair, and clothing.

SEED staff members are also focused on providing relief in the city of Leogane just outside of Port au Prince.  They are particularly focused on providing help to Emmanuel Orphanage.  SEED staff members pray that through this support, community members in Cayes and Leogane will experience the love of Christ and the Kingdom of God will be expanded.

If you wish to contribute to the SEED staff members' efforts, a disaster relief fund has been established at SEED Ministries, Inc.  Be assured that 100% of the dollars donated will go directly to those who have been seriously impacted by the earthquake.  Your contributions can be mailed to the following address:
