S.E.E.D. Institute Program
A three-year program offering instruction and training in Bible, agriculture, and veterinary care.
S.E.E.D. Farm and Agriculture Program
The farm is an integral part of the training program. It provides "hands on" experience for each student in production of
vegetables, field crops, and fruit trees. This program also includes a farm animal component that serves to provide students
practical experience in animal husbandry.

S.E.E.D. Veterinary Program
The veterinary program is designed to train the students in the basics of veterinary medicine. Veterinary clinics are held
regularly for local farmers to provide services for their livestock.
S.E.E.D. Extension Program

|
| Pastor Nicophen Simon in Dory-Former SEED Intern |
The Extension Program began in 1994 with two objectives. First, to give students field experience with supervision. Second,
to spread new agricultural techniques and Christian ministry. Following two years of agricultural and Bible training, each
student is assigned to a church in a rural area for one year to serve as an agricultural technician and as an assistant to
the church's pastor. The student is responsible for demonstrating gardening techniques, providing veterinary care, and offering
seminars to promote Christian ministry to local community members. Several SEED students have gone on to become pastors in
community churches.
S.E.E.D. Research & Agroforestry Program

In 2001, the Agroforestry Research Division was opened as a new area of the ministry. Since that time, the program has been
expanded to include the services of five Agroforestry Interns who are assigned to remote villages. These interns are instrumental
in teaching members of the local communities about land reclamation through planting hedgerows of shrubs and small trees to
reduce soil erosion.
