SEED Director-Pastor Frantz Clotaire & Family
Pastor Frantz is the founding missionary of S.E.E.D. Ministries, Inc. He earned a BS at Texas A & M University in College
Station, Texas, and a MS in Minnesota. He and his wife, Doris, oversee the daily functions at the S.E.E.D. Campus in Les
Cayes, Haiti. Pastor Frantz is a native of Les Cayes. While attending the university in the US, God planted the vision of
SEED in his heart so that he could return to Les Cayes to equip the Haitian people to make a better life for themselves.
Frantz and Doris live in Les Cayes with their sons, Daniel and Manuel.
Board Vice President-Robert Beebe, DVM
Bob graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1968. After 2 years of service in the U.S.
Army Veterinary Corps, he purchased Gilmer Park Animal Clinic, and has been its Director ever since. Over the years he has
provided veterinary services to Potawatomi Zoo and the Biology Departments of the University of Notre Dame and IUSB. He and
his wife, Sue, live in South Bend, Indiana. They are blessed with 6 children and 10 grandchildren.
Keith Bolsen, PhD
Keith is a Professor Emeritus of Cattle Nutrition at Kansas State University. He is a native of Bement, Illinois and received
his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Illinois in 1966 and 1967. He received a Ph.D. in Ruminant Nutrition from
the University of Nebraska in 1971. Keith retired from K-State in June 2003, and he and his wife, Ruthie, live in Austin,
Texas.
Board President-Joe Kopec, PhD
Joe has been a part of the U.S. Board of Directors since the inception of S.E.E.D. Ministries, Inc in 1992. He holds a BS
from Baylor University, a MS from Texas A & M University in Commerce, and a PhD from Texas A & M University in College
Station, Texas. He spent 31 years in the Texas public education system as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, and principal
of a middle school and five high schools. He retired in November 2003 and is involved in the Texas School Improvement process
as a consultant. In July 2009, he was chosen to serve as the Principal of Hyde Park Baptist Church High School in Austin.
He and his wife, Karen, live in Austin, Texas.
Board Secretary-Karen Kopec, EdD
Karen has attended the U.S. Board of Directors meetings since 2003. She holds a BS, MEd, and an EdD from the University of
Texas at Austin. She spent 26 years in the Texas public education system as a teacher, assistant principal, and a school
improvement administrator with the Texas Education Agency. She retired in January 2006 and is involved in the Texas School
Improvement process as a consultant. She and her husband, Joe, live in Austin, Texas. They have been blessed with 4 children
and 13 grandchildren.
Doug Moore
Doug visited S.E.E.D. Ministries, Inc in January 2008, and is a new member of the U.S. Board of Directors. He grew up on a
wheat farm in the Texas Panhandle and holds a BS in Agriculture Economics from Texas Tech University in Lubbock,Texas. In
1972, he joined the Navigators as a full-time staff member. He has spent his early years with the Navigators ministering
to university students and military personnel. Doug and his wife, Joy, live in San Antonio, Texas where they spend their
lives advancing the Gospel by living as "insiders" in their natural networks of relationships. They coach and train
others to do the same. They have been blessed with 4 children and 10 grandchildren.
Bill Stoller, CFP
Bill is a Certified Financial Planner practitioner and farm owner. He is currently engaged in a Financial Planning Practice
and a Grain Farming Operation. His farming experience includes cultivation of corn, soybeans, wheat, alfalfa, and commercial
vegetables. His livestock production experience includes cattle, hogs, dairy goats, sheep, and poultry. Bill and his wife,
Kathy, have two children and two grandchildren. They live in Princeville, Illinois.
